We live in an era where it’s adapt or die. If want to succeed in entrepreneurship, the two non-negotiables are consistently documenting your journey as well as education based marketing.

The question that is most asked by people is what is the key to success in creating online presence? The answer is creating both quality and consistent content that is relevant, engaging and congruent to your brand. It takes skill, strategy and intention to create quality and consistent content.

The biggest mistakes I have seen with people trying to create content is that they are creating the content for themselves or what they think people want. Not doing your research or due diligence and instead creating content to fulfill their own needs and insecurities rather than the needs of their clients. The likelihood of the market place responding to the following mistakes is obsolete.

If you want to be an influencer and an entrepreneur that impacts a lot of people, you need to be aware that it’s not about you. It is about the people that you impact, your brand, your service, and exceeding customer expectations. Today I will be talking about what has worked for me in creating quality content and keeping people engaged.

Let’s dive in!

In this episode, you will learn . . .

  • How to create consistent and engaging content that’s congruent to building a compelling brand
  • The biggest mistakes people make when creating content
  • Different types of content you can create and the platforms you can publish on
  • 5 keys to creating valuable content in 2018
  • The best practices for the hottest social media platforms

Quotes:
"It’s not about you, it’s about the people you impact and your brand or service exceeding expectations"

"Make sure you put out content that is relevant and congruent to who you are"
"Know what makes your business different and know what makes your positioning valuable"

Question:

What point of view do u want to share with the world that u know will make an impact?

Why do so many millionaires fall into the trap of feeling profoundly unhappy? Because they realize that money can’t buy happiness.

This week, we have special guest Tom Bilyeu who shares why it’s so important to chase fulfillment, and not money.

From being an aspiring filmmaker, to now being a world renowned speaker and founder of America’s favourite protein bar Quest. Bilyeu’s journey to success couldn’t be any further from the typical American dream. But like any college graduate, success once consisted of earning a high income and working harder. Bilyeu soon found himself working for a new tech startup and going to great lengths to perform his work as a copywriter (he relocated apartments to be within a 10 minute reach between his two partners, and worked 7 days a week).

The problem with this mindset was that in less than a decade, Bilyeu fell into a ‘profound unhappiness’ that caused him to flirt with the idea of depression and feel hopeless. Bilyeu was overworked, and the money could no longer keep him motivated.

In an attempt to reconnect with his passion for film, Bilyeu quit his job and began to plan a new life in Greece. This idea was short lived later that evening as Bilyeu attended a dinner with his partners. Little did Bilyeu know, this dinner was about to change the course of his life.

Together, they sold the tech startup and stopped chasing their motives to work purely for money. And they began a protein bar company with the primary aim of value creation.

Success in life for Bilyeu (and his company) now centres around passion and feeling alive doing work that’s fulfilling.

In this episode, you can learn to create success centred around these principles too.

Let’s dive in!

In this episode, you will learn . . .

  • How to develop a growth mindset
  • Why it’s important to work hard and be valuable
  • Why fulfillment should be a priority over money

Quotes:

The difference between paper money and cash in the bank, is the same as having no money but people thinking you’re cool and actually having money.

The goal of the game you’re playing is not money, or success, its fulfillment.

Being willing to suffer for something you want and believe in...is how you really win at life.

Question:

What do you need to do to in order to make your work more lively and fulfilling?

What is the one thing you need to start and build a thriving Youtube channel? The decision to just start.

This week, we have special guest Evan Carmichael give us the hard truth about the mindset and action needed to build grow a YouTube audience online.

The problem that paralyzes many people who are new to Youtube, is the inability to execute. Evan Carmichael tells us that if you’re not working towards making videos each week, with the vision to create numerous videos each day, you’re thinking too much.

You need to be making content consistently, and recognize the content you make at the beginning isn’t going to be great. In fact, it’s going to suck.

What matters most right now is developing the habit of creating videos through practice. Evan Carmichael believes that quantity leads to quality. So, you don’t need to be a natural in front of the camera, or an editing whiz. You just have to practice.

You also don’t have to have the ‘perfect’ topic to begin with either. You may be passionate about news, industry trends or entrepreneurship. Whatever it may be, you’ll have a point of view that makes you come alive. This is what inspires people; this what you’ll create content about.

Don’t let your limitations hold you back from creating. Start today.

Let’s do this!

In this episode, you will learn . . .

  • The top problems that paralyze people who are new to Youtube and how to overcome them
  • Why it’s important to stick to your passion and hire others to help you
  • How to create content that both your audience and yourself care about
  • The difference between a hobby and a business
  • Why you need to accept criticism and have the continued willingness to learn

Quotes:

You’re content has to be a match of what you like and what your audience wants. If you’re only posting what you like, it’s a hobby.

Quantity leads to the quality - the more you do, the better you’ll get at it.

I always take the personal responsibility. At the end of the day, No matter how great the red dragon video may be, if I suck, the video sucks.

Question:

What topic have you decided to create a video about today?
