This is one of the most common questions I get from young individuals who want to start a successful business or career. Personally, my biggest learning lessons have not only come from successful entrepreneurs but also the greats from various industries.

In this week’s podcast we have a special guest, Ryan Garcia! Ryan’s an American professional boxer in the Lightweight division. At only 20 years old, Garcia has an undefeated record of 18-0, but more impressive is his unshakeable mindset, and extreme confidence that he’ll achieve greatness. Do you know why 99% of entrepreneurs aren’t making money?

I have met a lot of people who have a million dollar dream, want to make it big, crush it, and break records but guess what? They lack EXECUTION. They may have wild ambition but their bank account certainly doesn’t reflect it.

Here is the reality; anybody can write, think, and plan but only a few can execute and that’s the difference between success and failure. If anybody can do what you do or break your record, then it has no value. If your dreams don’t challenge you, it is time to go back to the status quo. Don’t be the person who speaks and thinks without execution; let your actions do all the talking. Stay mysterious and never reveal too much.

Are you living a world class life?

Most people don’t realise the power of focus and what you’re capable of when you have 100% clarity on what you want.

The most dangerous words that can ever come out of someone’s mouth are “I already know that”. It has never been about what you know but rather do your results prove what you already know - does your bank account or your business prove that you are a living a world class life?

The biggest game changer for me was when I truly realized the power of ‘focus’. It’s one thing to interrupt your interruptions or your distractions but having an actual prevention plan for your distractions is a total game changer.

You must really focus on what you’re truly grateful for, what are you excited for and why? Staying results-focused and having a strong ‘why’ gives everything you do a new meaning and greater intent. Once you’ve honed in on your ‘why’, that’s when you’ve truly sold yourself on creating a world class life and nothing can stop you.

Are you operating with world class levels of energy?

This week I dive deep with a chapter in my book “6 Months to 6 Figures” and talk about the power of energy and how it can greatly impact your life and the success of your business.

There are mental and physical aspects of being energised and you need to possess both in order to be at your peak performance. The biggest reasons why people subconsciously settle for mediocre results is because they lose their reasons and the inner drive of their ‘why’. Let your vision and compelling reasons guide you rather than your current circumstances.

Nobody really talks about the importance of energy in business and how it can help with someone’s success. Without world class levels of energy, you won’t get to your best in business.

Energy is a competitive advantage. When I’m more energised, I get bigger things done and become more resourceful. I started teaching my team the same principles and philosophies that i’ve learned and their results started to go up as well.

Why do most people fail to level up their life? Because they base their decisions off of what others think versus who they really are. When people take too many opinions and fail to have their own original thoughts, their thoughts become conditioned by others. That’s how their limitations and fears are formed.

If you don’t know yourself and have strong principles and values, you become trapped in other’s expectations of you. It will just make it harder for you to to be resourceful - and what do most people in society do? They settle. Why? Because most people have no energy. Remember, you are one decision away from making a better, and a right decision.

Make sure you are doing everything in your power to create the best possible decisions for your life. It’s time to level up your business and live life in abundance!

Why do most people struggle? Well the reality is, the game has changed. What it took to succeed just 5 - 10 years ago just doesn’t cut it anymore. I know 16 - 18 year olds who are crushing it and are making 7 figures. I also know broke 40 year olds. How is this possible? Because one is willing to change and adapt to new times, becoming more valuable. While the other is stubborn and makes constant excuses.

In this new economy, starting a business is very easy and accessible. However being able to rise above the noise is the biggest difference between a successful company and one that will fail.

In this week’s podcast episode I interview the one and only Randall Pich, CEO of Livefit, a multi-million dollar clothing empire. Live Fit is one of the most successful clothing lines that have been created from the ground up before Randall hit the age of 25.

Starting a clothing line is arguably one of the hardest industries to succeed in as in most cases you are not solving a problem, but rather trying to start a movement or brand.

For Randall, success did not come easy for his Live Fit line of apparel, and it was even more difficult considering the fact that Randall had dropped out of college just 6 credits shy of graduating to focus on his business. The difference was that Randall had a plan and a sense of urgency to make Live Fit work. Needless to say, he succeeded in achieving that by making Live Fit apparel a recognized brand that is slated to do 8 figures in sales.

One of the biggest lessons that Randall shares with us is in order to succeed in building an empire and captivating brand is to hire the right people. Hire people who can represent the brand’s vision and values. Randall emphasises the importance of building the right team and hiring those who treat your business like it’s their business. Not having the right people to help run your business is one of the many reasons why business fail.

Success is not created overnight. Randall preached the hardships of creating the success in the brand that he has created. It is 5 - 10 years of constant hustle, from marketing, networking and thorough research. Beyond the hustle, Randall is able to captivate people with his brand by being genuine and truly living what his brand is about - It is all about being authentic and living your brand.

In this week’s podcast episode I dive deep in what it takes to prepare for success for the upcoming year. Most people think that 2019 starts in 2019, but it really begins now at the end of 2018. It doesn’t matter how excited or motivated you are, your success for the year 2019 will be determined by your actual habits during the 30 days of December.

The most important thing you need to have in check is figuring out your limitations. You need to fact check your philosophies of what you’re believing right now is possible for you. You must reflect what things you’ll take from the past that’s helping you and the things that are hindering you.

The biggest limitation for most people is by having the wrong people around. Surrounding yourself with the wrong people who are not aligned with your vision can result to your own vision being hindered. This can be the very reason that’s stopping you to propel forward. Make sure you end your year right, by checking yourself and start surrounding yourself around the right people.

The majority of society think that in order to be successful, you need to work plenty of hours. But it’s truly not about the hours you work, it’s about what you put in the hours. Putting in too many hours of work will make you bitter towards the things you use to love. It’s not about working harder or smarter, it’s about working right with intent and purpose. Making sure that your mindset and your actions are helping you propel your business forward, rather than just maintaining it.

The real game changer is to change your perspective in planning ahead and thinking things through. This will lessen regret. People live in the moment so much that they struggle in the future because they don’t have the intent and strategy. You need to finish big and firstly understand the philosophy of the last leg of the year. It determines everything.

By thoroughly planning for the next year ahead separates winners and losers in terms of economics. December is the final stretch to go big and plan big. I’m always thinking about how I can win before the game begins, and making sure i have every competitive advantage in entrepreneurship.

How can you reach your potential to greatness? Those who operate at the peak of their game know exactly who they are and what their strengths are. It is so important to have strong reasons with what you’re doing so you can stay laser focused on something bigger than yourself.

Why do most people find it hard to reach greatness? Because they procrastinate. Most people haven’t truly sold themselves on what they’re doing or have sold themselves on too many things which leads to burnout. The only way to achieve greatness is by fully selling yourself on every angle where there is no space for alternatives.

Everybody suffers and deals with problems. What I’ve realised is asking yourself the question, “What are you gonna suffer for?” There is a lot of sacrifice and suffering that comes with those who are reaching greatness so you need to define what you’re willing to sacrifice in order to level up your game.

The common theme that most entrepreneurs suffer with is being lonely. Truth is, everyone has problems. What you must do to succeed is to choose your problems and upgrade what you need to focus on. By understanding that you want to achieve greatness, little problems will no longer affect you.

If you ever suffer from being overwhelmed because a task was too hard to do, you need to shift your perspective and be able to ask the right question. You need to ask yourself “what would this look like if it were easy?” The feeling of being overwhelmed is usually a result of over complicating something or failing to simplify the solution.

Why is having confidence and mental toughness the biggest key in succeeding? Because insecurities will destroy you while confidence will take you to a level that very few obtain.

Being crystal clear with your vision and knowing exactly what you want to achieve is powerful in order to reach success.

When I was dead broke and had nothing, I was sick of living a mediocre life. I didn’t know much about success but I had clarity on two things. I hated being broke and I wanted to live a life on my own terms without having money problems ever again. I no longer wanted to settle working a normal job and work for somebody else.

I want to share with you that one trait that all millionaires have in common. It’s having that clarity on exactly where they are going and why they are seeking success.

Once I became crystal clear with what I wanted in my life, I was able to level up my game and stopped living a mediocre life.

If you know exactly what it is that you want in life, often you will be forced to settle if you don’t know what you’re willing to give up to achieve your goals. This will only stop you from taking things to the next level.

 

The question I often get asked is, “how do you have tunnel vision on your goals to take both your life and business to the next level?” It’s important that you’re aware of what your strengths are and what type of people you need on your team to reach new heights.
