What is your main goal when making a sale?

There are many salesmen out there claiming that they’ve already mastered the tricks of the trade but haven’t been in the trenches yet! It’s hard to make it big and far when your only “goal” is to make a sale.

The secret to mastering the art of sales is actually a lot more simple than you think. All it takes is a little shift of perspective to realize what the end goal is. Understanding that is the first step to being a good salesman.

So joining us today’s podcast episode is a rockstar in the sales department. He is a real estate developer, sales strategist, entrepreneur, and speaker: Tony Martinez!

Tony has been in the game ever since he was 13 years old! All his years of experience of working from the ground up to the big leagues of real estate, and sales brought him all the lessons he’s going to share with us today.

Don’t miss the shot to get a chance to be a master of the trade with exclusive tips from sales expert, Tony Martinez!

Let’s tune in!

In this episode you will learn...

  • How to identify your true goals when making a sale
  • The simplified method of what you need to remember in sales
  • The importance of establishing yourself and your credibility in a sales pitch

Quotes:

-> "A sale is never the goal. What should the goal be? Create interest, curiosity, credibility, urgency---and then the result is a sale"

->"How do I keep people’s interests? The one tool that I have is my words coming out of my mouth and my body language. What I want to do is to create impactful statements through words"

Question:

Episode show notes...

What does it take to be a GAME CHANGER in a society where everyone is the same?

Being different can be dangerous in a brainwashed society, but it’s not as dangerous as being like everyone else.

This was my story when I was growing up. In a small town of 7000 people, no one around me was hitting it big. I never even thought about becoming a game changer because no one talked about doing something different. There was no one who told me about the things I can be if I work smart, it was always the same thing from the same people: “Work Harder”.

So, how do you stay true to yourself when everyone has an opinion to say about everything? How do you tune out all the noise?
I knew there was something else out there. So I chose who I wanted to listen to. I chose to listen to the people who have experience, and who practice what they preach. When I was able to tune out all the noise, I was able to tune in with myself.

Being in tune with yourself means being able to focus on what you want, and what you’re willing to give up to get them. This is how you become truly successful. When you know yourself well enough, you understand what you need to do what you need to reach your goals: to be different, to be a GAME CHANGER.

In today’s podcast, we’ll be talking about going against the grain in a society filled with mediocrity!

Let’s dive in!

In this episode you will learn:

  • How selective listening can be a step towards the right direction in success
  • The value of quality opinions over the quantity of opinions
  • How to tune out all the noise and stay true to yourself - flipping your perspective and your approach to obtain a world class life

Quotes:

-> "Game changers don’t just work harder, they work right"

-> "The majority of us live like there’s 500 years left but we don’t. Time waits for nobody. You have to have some urgency in your life"

-> "The reason our society is struggling is people are taking advice from people who don’t practice what they preach"

Question:

HOW WILL YOU CHOOSE TO STANDOUT IN A WORLD WHERE EVERYONE IS THE SAME?

Episode show notes...

What is the most important thing you need to inspire?

Having a platform is powerful and requires responsibility. It is your obligation and duty to live your best life, practice what you preach and to continue to inspire those who respect you. Being someone people can look up to is a real fulfillment. Hearing people say how much you’ve changed their lives is something else. So, when I found out that even kids as young as 12 and 13 are listening to my podcasts and want to start change with themselves, I was reminded of how important this platform is: not for me but for them.

People often think that leaving an impact means you have to focus on how you’re going to present yourself to others, but that’s not how you make a legacy--you must focus on your purpose.

The answer to making a lasting impact and starting a movement doesn’t start with what you want, but with what you can give back to those who look up to you. It’s all so simple, you just need to flip your perspective.

A lot of people make a lot of money and buy nice things only to realize that doesn't fulfill them at all. Fulfillment is actually giving back.
It's one thing to impact yourself, but it's a whole different level of fulfillment when someone says "You changed my life." This is why you need to change your mindset off yourself and on to your real purpose.

Today’s podcast will be all about getting on the right mindset for inspiration and leaving selfishness behind to achieve impact and inspiration.

Let’s dive in!

In this episode you will learn...

  • How to redirect your focus from making content for yourself versus your legacy
  • What your TRUE priorities should be if you want to inspire and leave your mark in the world
  • How to add value to your work and provide world class service

Quotes:

-> "Money is a reflection of exceeding customer's expectations but it won't make you ultimately fulfilled - fulfillment is actually giving back"

-> "Document everything, your success is in your failures"

-> "You'll never reach the next level of fulfillment and success if you’re stuck on yourself"

Question:

ARE YOUR CREATING CONTENT FOR YOURSELF OR YOUR LEGACY?

Episode show notes...

When things are going wrong, how do you deal with your emotions?

The way you handle your emotions when things are tough, determines a great leader. Handling emotions takes self awareness and mental toughness that you must find within yourself. Through my own experience of losing a loved one, I knew what I needed to do to step up and be someone my family can rely on. I was able to recognize my own emotional state and what causes it. This awareness helps me recognize others’ emotional states easier. I was able to see things from their perspective.

Developing this emotional shift did not come easy. It was a long journey that took a lot of bravery. When you get to the state where you have control over your emotions, and the sense to make the right decisions, you will realize that the experience was worth it.

Life can be unforgiving sometimes but choosing to endure the tough times, and even focusing on expanding your endurance--that requires true strength. A great leader is someone who doesn’t back down from the challenges of life.

This mental toughness allows you to control your emotions before they control you--giving you a mindset of focus and awareness that is valuable in being a high class entrepreneur. When you are able to engage with people in a way that draws them to you in respect--relating, and building relationships come so much easier. You will come out on top.

In today’s podcast, we’ll be talking about the importance of having a strong and focused mindset towards life’s challenges.

Let’s dive in!

In this episode you will learn...

  • How to change your approach to life’s tough challenges by being in control of your emotions
  • To make better AND more aware decisions for yourself--and for others around you
  • To invest in persistence that comes with the journey to mental toughness and emotional intelligence

Quotes:

-> "No amount of confidence can bring lasting change unless it’s accompanied by shifting perspective"

-> "Mental toughness can only be developed over a period of time. It’s making the tough decision of getting back up"

-> "Don’t take anything personal. Successful people have thick skin and selective hearing"

Question:

HOW WILL YOU CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE IN ORDER TO BECOME A GREAT LEADER?
