In this new economy, starting a business is very easy and accessible. However being able to rise above the noise is the biggest difference between a successful company and one that will fail.

In this week’s podcast episode I interview the one and only Randall Pich, CEO of Livefit, a multi-million dollar clothing empire. Live Fit is one of the most successful clothing lines that have been created from the ground up before Randall hit the age of 25.

Starting a clothing line is arguably one of the hardest industries to succeed in as in most cases you are not solving a problem, but rather trying to start a movement or brand.

For Randall, success did not come easy for his Live Fit line of apparel, and it was even more difficult considering the fact that Randall had dropped out of college just 6 credits shy of graduating to focus on his business. The difference was that Randall had a plan and a sense of urgency to make Live Fit work. Needless to say, he succeeded in achieving that by making Live Fit apparel a recognized brand that is slated to do 8 figures in sales.

One of the biggest lessons that Randall shares with us is in order to succeed in building an empire and captivating brand is to hire the right people. Hire people who can represent the brand’s vision and values. Randall emphasises the importance of building the right team and hiring those who treat your business like it’s their business. Not having the right people to help run your business is one of the many reasons why business fail.

Success is not created overnight. Randall preached the hardships of creating the success in the brand that he has created. It is 5 - 10 years of constant hustle, from marketing, networking and thorough research. Beyond the hustle, Randall is able to captivate people with his brand by being genuine and truly living what his brand is about - It is all about being authentic and living your brand.

If you are struggling in taking your business to the next level and creating a captivating brand, make sure you tune into this week’s podcast. You don’t want to miss it!

Let’s dive in!

Are you constantly growing your circle of influence?

Who you surround yourself with on a daily basis will either make or break you. In my best-selling book “6 Months to 6 Figures”, I share the importance of shifting your circle of influence and building your million dollar network.

When I was dead broke and struggling, I realised I was being influenced by people who were at my level or worse. These people were telling me it was okay to be stressed out and broke but the reality was I wasn’t okay with feeling insecure and trapped. The biggest game changer for me was making the decision to shift my circle of influence.

If you want to live a world class lifestyle, you need to make sure you’re surrounding yourself with world class people.

In order to level up, you need to evaluate the people you are around and how they are affecting your thinking, standards, actions and philosophies. The only thing that really changes your life is the people you meet and the connections you develop along the way.

Make sure you tune in this week’s episode as I walk you through the exact strategies I have used to creating a very powerful network!

Let’s dive in!

In this episode you will learn...

  • Why your circle of influence is critical in taking your life to the next level
  • How to create a make it or break it list so you can level up and start executing quicker
  • How you can communicate and bring value to higher level people
  • How to shift from complexity to simplicity towards creating success

"If you want to get to a certain level, talk to people at a higher level than you"

"Your circle of influence will make or break you"

"Don’t complicate success, you have to shift from complexity to simplicity"

Who in your circle of influence can help you take your success to the next level?

Episode show notes...

In this week’s podcast episode I dive deep in what it takes to prepare for success for the upcoming year. Most people think that 2019 starts in 2019, but it really begins now at the end of 2018. It doesn’t matter how excited or motivated you are, your success for the year 2019 will be determined by your actual habits during the 30 days of December.

The most important thing you need to have in check is figuring out your limitations. You need to fact check your philosophies of what you’re believing right now is possible for you. You must reflect what things you’ll take from the past that’s helping you and the things that are hindering you.

The biggest limitation for most people is by having the wrong people around. Surrounding yourself with the wrong people who are not aligned with your vision can result to your own vision being hindered. This can be the very reason that’s stopping you to propel forward. Make sure you end your year right, by checking yourself and start surrounding yourself around the right people.

The majority of society think that in order to be successful, you need to work plenty of hours. But it’s truly not about the hours you work, it’s about what you put in the hours. Putting in too many hours of work will make you bitter towards the things you use to love. It’s not about working harder or smarter, it’s about working right with intent and purpose. Making sure that your mindset and your actions are helping you propel your business forward, rather than just maintaining it.

The real game changer is to change your perspective in planning ahead and thinking things through. This will lessen regret. People live in the moment so much that they struggle in the future because they don’t have the intent and strategy. You need to finish big and firstly understand the philosophy of the last leg of the year. It determines everything.

By thoroughly planning for the next year ahead separates winners and losers in terms of economics. December is the final stretch to go big and plan big. I’m always thinking about how I can win before the game begins, and making sure i have every competitive advantage in entrepreneurship.

If you are excited to kill it in 2019 and have that competitive advantage over the rest of society, let’s dive in!

In this episode you will learn...

  • How to have competitive advantage in entrepreneurship
  • How to use the month of December to plan and crush 2019
  • What limitations are holding you back from becoming more successful
  • How you can win in this economy
  • How to have a competitive edge in the entrepreneurship industry

"Limitations are created by you and the people you’re around"

"It’s not about the hours you work, it’s about what you put in the hours"

"The more you think things through, the less regret you’ll have"

What habits will you develop for the rest of the month to determine your success for 2019?

How can you reach your potential to greatness? Those who operate at the peak of their game know exactly who they are and what their strengths are. It is so important to have strong reasons with what you’re doing so you can stay laser focused on something bigger than yourself.

Real entrepreneurs are leading a revolution, leading by example and creating a movement that’s changing the game.

Why do most people find it hard to reach greatness? Because they procrastinate. Most people haven’t truly sold themselves on what they’re doing or have sold themselves on too many things which leads to burnout. The only way to achieve greatness is by fully selling yourself on every angle where there is no space for alternatives.

Everybody suffers and deals with problems. What I’ve realised is asking yourself the question, “What are you gonna suffer for?” There is a lot of sacrifice and suffering that comes with those who are reaching greatness so you need to define what you’re willing to sacrifice in order to level up your game.

The common theme that most entrepreneurs suffer with is being lonely. Truth is, everyone has problems. What you must do to succeed is to choose your problems and upgrade what you need to focus on. By understanding that you want to achieve greatness, little problems will no longer affect you.

If you ever suffer from being overwhelmed because a task was too hard to do, you need to shift your perspective and be able to ask the right question. You need to ask yourself “what would this look like if it were easy?” The feeling of being overwhelmed is usually a result of over complicating something or failing to simplify the solution.

If you are struggling and feeling overwhelmed with trying to achieve a higher level of success, make sure you listen to this week’s podcast!

In this episode you will learn...

  • How you can reach your potential to greatness
  • How to stop procrastination
  • Why it’s so important to sell yourself in what you’re doing so you can reach greatness
  • How to feel less overwhelmed when dealing with hard tasks

"People that are reaching greatness comes with a lot of sacrifice and suffering so you have to define what you’re going to suffer at"

"When you study people at that elite level, the last thing that they care about or fear is other’s opinions - it’s really hard to shake billionaires"

"People that are focused on greatness are 100 percent focused on their strengths and they find the best people that love their weaknesses"

What are you going to do to reach your potential greatness?

How prepared are you for the inevitable changes in life and business?

In this week’s podcast, I interview pro skateboard legend, entrepreneur, and president of Commune Capital, Mikey Taylor. Mikey dives into his biggest breakthroughs he’s learned the past 20 years, and how he’s overcome the inevitable life changes that come with being a pro athlete (injuries, uncertainty of free agency, and money earned through this career is not forever)

Mikey advises all young entrepreneurs, athletes, and entertainers to protect and multiply your money.

A lot of entrepreneurs know how to make money but very few know how to protect it and compound it to protect their family. Real estate created passive income for Mikey and allowed him to plan for the future without becoming too comfortable with his career as a pro athlete. It’s important to plan for the future and control how much you are spending.

Mikey went through one of the biggest setbacks in his life which was losing his career earlier than he had expected. Like many successful people in business, he emphasised the power of a morning routine for the mindset to accomplish rather than feeling anxious and tired.

Mikey believes one of the biggest perspective shifts is stepping outside of yourself to help other people succeed is a whole new level of fulfilment. In fact, your level of success increases when you succeed with others.

Make sure you tune in this week’s podcast if you want to build your net-worth and learn the importance of creating multiple streams of income.

Let’s dive in!

Why is having confidence and mental toughness the biggest key in succeeding? Because insecurities will destroy you while confidence will take you to a level that very few obtain.

In this week’s podcast I dive in the steps from “6 Months to 6 Figures” and the importance of confidence being congruent to your level of success.

Your most important account is not your bank account but your confidence account. Those making the most impact and influence in this new economy have certainty and confidence.

Are you executing on your vision? If you have level 10 goals and want high level income however your confidence level is 4, you’re going to live incongruently and be stressed out. When you’re stressed out, you’re not as resourceful.

If you want to build a world class life, you need to find a way to maximize your resources. Remember, being resourceful is the biggest resource.

Your biggest resource is your internal emotion - getting addicted to the feeling finishing something you needed to do, whether you feel like it or not. Start doings things based off intelligence rather than mood. I can guarantee that you will start getting the results that you want.

Make sure you tune in this week’s episode, for an in-depth perspective shift in building mental toughness and creating a world class life!

In this episode you will learn...

  • How to breakthrough mental toughness and gain confidence to create a world class life

Episode Show Notes

What does it take to build a successful business? Scratch that. What does it take to build a 9-figure business?!? We are getting real now.

It is simple. Stop trying to know everything and START taking action. You can learn more from bad experiences (such as being dead broke) over reading a book or paying for a class. Yes, education and learning is important but it pales in comparison to action.

In this week’s podcast, I interview self-made millionaire Brian Cristiano.  Brian is the Founder & CEO of BOLD Worldwide, Entrepreneur, Keynote Speaker, Marketing Expert and Creator of the Docu-Series: Growing BOLD. His focus is building a $100,000,000+ Marketing & Media Company.

How do you swallow an elephant? One bite at a time. That is how Brian is striving to obtain his goal. One action at a time.

In this podcast, you will learn that launching a successful digital campaign is a very important component for business growth and an action that is necessary to put gas on your growth fire. It’s very easy for entrepreneurs to forget who their customers actually are. The biggest win is starting with knowing who your core customers are and their values and then taking massive action to solve their problems.

Understanding your customer requires interacting with your audience and looking at data. You need to be aware of customer values and what drives them. How did you retain them in the first place? Through customer service? Prices? Focus on how you can make those components bigger and better and tell a story around it. The key is to retain your customers.

Where most entrepreneurs go wrong is that they spend too much time focusing on tactics such as what’s the cost per lead, and not enough time actually focusing on their customers and taking action to get that first lead. And second lead, and third, and 10th, and 1,000th…...

Customers are marketing geniuses. If you market based off customer needs, you skip the guessing game. That is the biggest game changer.

Your marketing campaign will become more successful the more you stop making it about you and what your selling, and start focusing on what you can do for your customers.

If you are ready to level up your marketing campaign and take action towards solving your customer’s problem, then you are on the path to 9-figures!

In this episode you will learn...

-> Why it is important to focus on customer needs in order to launch a successful marketing campaign
-> How to retain your customers
-> Why it’s important to study your customer to grow your business
-> How to be successful in starting a business

“Stop selling the features and start selling the outcome - understand your customer to actually sell the outcome”

“Are you driving a deal or something intriguing enough that the rest of the market isn’t?”
“The real win is starting from who your core customers and what are their values?”

What do your customers really want?

Being crystal clear with your vision and knowing exactly what you want to achieve is powerful in order to reach success.

When I was dead broke and had nothing, I was sick of living a mediocre life. I didn’t know much about success but I had clarity on two things. I hated being broke and I wanted to live a life on my own terms without having money problems ever again. I no longer wanted to settle working a normal job and work for somebody else.

I want to share with you that one trait that all millionaires have in common. It’s having that clarity on exactly where they are going and why they are seeking success.

Once I became crystal clear with what I wanted in my life, I was able to level up my game and stopped living a mediocre life.

If you know exactly what it is that you want in life, often you will be forced to settle if you don’t know what you’re willing to give up to achieve your goals. This will only stop you from taking things to the next level.

The question I often get asked is, “how do you have tunnel vision on your goals to take both your life and business to the next level?” It’s important that you’re aware of what your strengths are and what type of people you need on your team to reach new heights.

Trying to do everything on your own can only lead to burn-out and losing passion over the things you used to love doing. Focusing on your strengths is vital to truly have clarity on the things that matter and scale your business.

To put things in perspective, having a great sense of clarity on exactly what you want in life, is the biggest key to success.

If you are prepared to take your life and business to a higher level, make sure you are tuned in this week’s podcast episode.

Let’s dive in!

In this episode you will learn...

  • Why the power of clarity is the biggest key in achieving success
  • How to gain clarity in your life to take your life and business to the next level
  • How to continue to build your life and business without leading to burn out and losing passion over what you love to do

"Reasons come first, results come second"

"Get addicted to outcomes and results, not information and knowledge"

"Clarity comes from getting rid of everything that’s not a high priority and if it’s not long term, it’s small talk for you"

What is your biggest ‘why’ in pursuing entrepreneurship?

What does it take to multiply your money to create greater choices

What does ‘money’ mean to you?

This is a topic rarely discussed at home and one of the main reasons why people don’t have enough.

You have to identify what is ‘enough’ for you, but most people are struggling. They have inconsistent income, don’t have enough to pay for bills and they’re just trying to escape the rat race.

Money isn’t everything, but it’s right up there with oxygen.

Money is very important for freedom, peace of mind, experiences, adventure, impact and living life on your terms.

The purpose of this chapter called ‘Money Matters’ in my book ‘6 Months to 6 Figures’ is not just to educate people about money but to share first hand experiences how i didn’t just go from dead broke to 6 figures in income - i went from a dead broke mindset to a wealthy ‘mindset’ first. Remember, mindset comes first, results come second.

Don’t believe what you believe just because that’s how you were raised. There are a lot of philosophies that you might have adopted that may night be serving you well.

Money without financial intelligence is money soon gone.

I want to share with you not just how to make money but how to keep it, multiply it, compound it and protect your family to where you never have money issues.

Do you want to break free from mediocrity? You need to change your perspective on wealth.

Join me on this week’s podcast if you are ready for greater freedom and start living life on your terms.

Let’s go!

In this episode, you will learn . . .

  • How to break free from the money scarcity mentality
  • How you can start living life on your terms
  • How to become successful and start capitalising even when the economy is downhill
  • How to break free from mediocrity and start creating wealth

-> "If you don’t have the money mindset - money without financial intelligence, is money soon gone"

-> ""You are not intelligent if you think way more money makes your happier"

-> "The market will crash - but the ultimate time for opportunity is when people are pessimistic"

Many entrepreneurs fail because they don’t understand the importance of the power of pure laser focus. People are too obsessed with learning and getting their hands on too many resources leading to information overload.

The majority are still stuck in the mindset of “working harder, not smarter”. How will you find time on doing things that give you the most fulfilment when you’re stuck with the mindset of hustling all day? The one thing you must do in order to survive in this era is to focus on working ‘right’.

Billionaire entrepreneurs, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates believe that the main key to success is the power of focus. In this new economy, there is overwhelming complexity, insurmountable change and incredible competition. This is the time where it has become more significant than ever before to focus on what’s most important.

Do you truly understand the importance of maximizing your time? Perspective of your 24 hours is the biggest game changer. How you spend your 24 hours determines your productivity. Focus on changing your perspective with your time. The more you are disciplined with your time, the more you will find yourself working less and getting better results.

In this week’s episode, I will share with you how you can create a legacy and a lifestyle that you desire through the power of focus.

Let’s dive in!

In this episode you will learn...

What will you do to be more productive with your time?

In this week’s podcast, I will continue to the break down my book “6 Months to 6 Figures”, promoted by Entrepreneur magazine, Forbes and Huffington Post.

The biggest key in being able to take any business to a whole new level, is the concept of mastery vs overload. Bombarding yourself with too much information is the biggest reason why most people fail to execute. You need to be intentional with the information that you are consuming.

If you want to succeed, you need to understand the importance of mastery. Only master what is most congruent with your end results. Mastery is the highest form of accomplishment, performance and success.

If you are prepared for achieving the highest level of results for your business through mastery, let’s dive in this week’s podcast!

In this episode you will learn...

  • Why mastery vs overload is the key to success
  • The biggest hacks in taking your business to a whole new level
  • The break down of “6 months to 6 figures” and helping someone go from broke to earning high level income

What are you going to master to take your business to another level?

Sep 27, 2018

One of the biggest big throughs I’ve had through my journey to success, is to really focus on what I must do in order to get real results.

After countless time and money spent on personal development, mentors and seminars, I have written my own book “6 Months to 6 Figures”. The book really simplifies the strategies that are necessary to be successful in the entrepreneurial world.

You must figure out what drives you, and truly make an impact to your audience. Your main focus in succeeding within any industry is to ensure that you are satisfying the needs of your audience.

Why is bringing value to your audience so important? The reality is, you will get paid for the value that you are bringing onto the marketplace. And if you’re not very valuable, you won’t make much money.

In this week’s podcast I dive deep into some of the valuable lessons and strategies from my book, “6 Months to 6 Figures”.  If you are ready to take your business to the next level, let’s dive in!

In this episode you will learn...

  • How you can adapt in this new economy and bring value to your audience
  • Strategies on how you can take your business to the next level

"If you’re not very valuable, you won’t make much money"

"Learn to work harder on yourself, than you do on your job"

What Action Will You Make Today To Create An Impact For Your Audience?

Sep 20, 2018

What does it take to build a seven figure business and creating a brand that’s polarising? You must figure out what industry you will dominate. If you want to impact and inspire millennials, you must show real results. That’s how you earn respect.

You need to have a polarising point of view, which sometimes might offend people. This will deepen your connection with your audience to a higher level. It’s better to be loved or hated than tolerated. Figure out what will make your brand different, to convince people to follow your brand.

Why do most entrepreneurs fail in creating a successful business? Because they lack the due diligence to figure out what their target audience actually want. The likelihood of the market place responding because you want something, or because you think they like something is zero.

In this week’s podcast, I share some top branding and social media tips that nobody really talks about.

Let’s dive in!

In this episode you will learn...

  • What it takes to create a brand that is polarising

  • How to connect with your audience on a deeper level

  • The strategies in building a unique brand

  • The best way to get your audience to engage and follow your brand

"You have to figure out what you want to do that’s polarising, that you’ve actually done, so people can respect you"

"Whether you like it or not, you have to adapt and adjust or your dead in this economy"

"I got all my hunger from struggling, and going broke"

What does your audience really want?

Sep 13, 2018

In this week’s podcast, I will be sharing the secrets in attaining whatever it is that you want in life. Before we dive in, you really need to think about the beliefs that are holding you back. Your life will organise around the standards that you have set for yourself.

So what does it really take to get to get whatever it is that you want? It starts with really defining exactly what you want, why you want it and what you’re willing to give up. The biggest key in attaining everything you want in life, is through sacrifice and being really obsessed in getting what you want. Your reasons always come first and results come second.

The best way to obtain everything that you’ve ever wanted in life, is through the ‘pathway of power’. By getting the best strategies, resources and mentors. The worst thing you can do in attaining your wants, is to try to do everything on your own. You need to leverage technology and delegate. If there is someone who can do something 80 percent as good as you, simply delegate it.

If you want to build a successful brand, the perfect recipe is by using your strengths and mixing it with what you’re passionate about. And solve a problem that people care about.

Let’s dive in to this week’s episode, and cut your learning curve in half, and be one step closer in attaining everything that you desire in your life.

In this episode you will learn...

In this week’s podcast episode, we have a special guest, Jaime Masters. Masters is an expert in helping small businesses take it to the next level. She really hones in on what it takes to grow your business from six figures to a million dollar company.

What are the constant mindset and actions that separate seven figure entrepreneurs from the six figure entrepreneurs? The number one mindset of a millionaire, is the commitment to the end goal. It is not about writing down your goals, or how it will happen (which most entrepreneurs get caught up in). It is the commitment to your end goal, no matter what happens. Whether things get tough, it is the ability to adapt and adjust regardless of any circumstance.

Secondly, the speed of implementation has been another main difference amongst those who are earning seven figures and to those earning six figures. The biggest key in speeding up implementation in your business, is to have an amazing team to help you implement, test or even level up what’s already working for your business. Consistency between both mindset and the speed of implementation makes the biggest difference in maximising the income of your business.

What steps do you plan to take to speed up the implementation of your business?

Aug 23, 2018

Want to know the biggest rookie mistake that I’ve seen in business? People creating businesses without leverage or scale, which eventually results to burn out while trying to prospect.

No matter how passionate you are and how much you love what you do, it’s important to have the right mindset. You need to have a genuine core and unshakeable belief that you’re able to do anything you set your mind to.

As an entrepreneur, you need to fully believe that what you are giving or selling is 100 times the value that your customers are getting. If you’re getting paid $20,000 for a speech, you need to fully believe that you are giving $100,000 in value.

In order to be a leading authority within your industry, you need to shift your perspective. The likelihood of the market responding based on what you think the market wants, is zero. It doesn’t matter what you want, it’s not about you. It’s about your customers, and what they want; simply ask your customers what they want. The more you can deliver exactly what they want, the higher the return.

If you want to know the top secrets in positioning yourself as the leading authority in your industry, and successfully grow your business, this episode’s for you.

In this episode, you will learn . . .

  • How you can use expert positioning to leverage and scale your business
  • Why you should fully believe you’re giving 20x the value you’re charging
  • The importance of giving your best content away
  • Why you should sell the solution to your prospect’s problem and not yourself or your expertise
  • To market your product/service instead of just ‘doing’
  • How to build your online business the right way

You can and will do anything that you put your mind to. Period.”

The likelihood of the marketplace responding because YOU want something is ZERO”

Give away better content than most pay thousands for”

What Area Are You Focusing On To Build Your Online Empire?

How do you stay passionate and motivated? The hard truth is that you won’t always be motivated. You need to realise that motivation is a feeling that comes and goes. It’s crucial to work out what time of day or week you will be in the zone, and prioritise your most important tasks during that time.

There are mental and physical aspects of being in the energised, and you need to possess both in order to be at your peak performance. The biggest reasons why people subconsciously settle for mediocre results is because they lose their reasons and the inner drive of their ‘why’. Let your vision and compelling reasons guide you, rather than your current circumstances.

When I’m feeling frustrated and not in the zone, I always have to remind myself to stay grateful. You need to shift your mental state. Think, what are the things are you grateful for? I’m most grateful for being healthy, doing what I love, being an entrepreneur and having freedom, my amazing wife and my family.

I used to be dead broke and discouraged. I’ve realized, sometimes it takes standing outside of yourself, to help those who are struggling. If you’re struggling, and you see someone worse off than you, and you can make their day? It’s impossible to continue to struggle. In fact, you will be motivated. Don’t underestimate the importance of making someone’s day.

So just be grateful for wherever you are in life, whether it’s good or bad. If I were to never experience the struggles that I went through, I would be nowhere near as hungry as I am now.

Let’s dive in!

In this episode, you will learn . . .

  • Peter’s biggest realisation about motivation
  • How to strategically get yourself motivated when you’re not feeling it
  • The mental and physical aspects of real motivation
  • The importance of gratitude, having clarity and strong compelling reasons so you don’t settle
  • Why you should eliminate energy drainers both in your personal and professional life

“Have clarity and strong reasons for why you’re doing what you’re doing”

“If someone can do something 80% as good as you, delegate it”

“People are going to judge you anyway. You may as well be who you want to be”

How do the successful people grow massive wealth? Contrary to traditional beliefs, it’s not by saving. It’s through investmenting.

In this episode, we speak to one of Mexico’s youngest, most knowledgeable real estate investors Tony Martinez.

At 19, Martinez hit his first 6 figures - making $126,000. Thanks to his brother during his teen years, he learnt to surround himself with the right people - choosing only those who would add value to his future goals.

Within the next few years, Martinez lost all that money and more (nearly a million), taking his wealth for granted and lavishly spending on luxurious pleasures.

This experience was the turning point that changed Martinez to become the man he is today - an investor. Martinez decided to turn his mistakes around and begin truly educating himself on how to grow his money for the long-term. He mentions how the accumulation of money should never drive someone to fear and hoard. Money should give them a hunger and aspiration to work for more and have it reward you in return.

The question that is most asked by people is what is the key to success in creating online presence? The answer is creating both quality and consistent content that is relevant, engaging and congruent to your brand. It takes skill, strategy and intention to create quality and consistent content.

Why do so many millionaires fall into the trap of feeling profoundly unhappy? Because they realize that money can’t buy happiness.

This week, we have special guest Tom Bilyeu who shares why it’s so important to chase fulfillment, and not money.

From being an aspiring filmmaker, to now being a world renowned speaker and founder of America’s favourite protein bar Quest. Bilyeu’s journey to success couldn’t be any further from the typical American dream. But like any college graduate, success once consisted of earning a high income and working harder. Bilyeu soon found himself working for a new tech startup and going to great lengths to perform his work as a copywriter (he relocated apartments to be within a 10 minute reach between his two partners, and worked 7 days a week).

The problem with this mindset was that in less than a decade, Bilyeu fell into a ‘profound unhappiness’ that caused him to flirt with the idea of depression and feel hopeless. Bilyeu was overworked, and the money could no longer keep him motivated.

In an attempt to reconnect with his passion for film, Bilyeu quit his job and began to plan a new life in Greece. This idea was short lived later that evening as Bilyeu attended a dinner with his partners. Little did Bilyeu know, this dinner was about to change the course of his life.

Together, they sold the tech startup and stopped chasing their motives to work purely for money. And they began a protein bar company with the primary aim of value creation.

Success in life for Bilyeu (and his company) now centres around passion and feeling alive doing work that’s fulfilling.

In this episode, you can learn to create success centred around these principles too.

Let’s dive in!

In this episode, you will learn . . .

The difference between paper money and cash in the bank, is the same as having no money but people thinking you’re cool and actually having money.

The goal of the game you’re playing is not money, or success, its fulfillment.

Being willing to suffer for something you want and believe how you really win at life.

What is the one thing you need to start and build a thriving Youtube channel? The decision to just start.

This week, we have special guest Evan Carmichael give us the hard truth about the mindset and action needed to build grow a YouTube audience online.

The problem that paralyzes many people who are new to Youtube, is the inability to execute. Evan Carmichael tells us that if you’re not working towards making videos each week, with the vision to create numerous videos each day, you’re thinking too much.

You need to be making content consistently, and recognize the content you make at the beginning isn’t going to be great. In fact, it’s going to suck.

What matters most right now is developing the habit of creating videos through practice. Evan Carmichael believes that quantity leads to quality. So, you don’t need to be a natural in front of the camera, or an editing whiz. You just have to practice.

You also don’t have to have the ‘perfect’ topic to begin with either. You may be passionate about news, industry trends or entrepreneurship. Whatever it may be, you’ll have a point of view that makes you come alive. This is what inspires people; this what you’ll create content about.

Don’t let your limitations hold you back from creating. Start today.

Let’s do this!

In this episode, you will learn . . .

  • The top problems that paralyze people who are new to Youtube and how to overcome them
  • Why it’s important to stick to your passion and hire others to help you
  • How to create content that both your audience and yourself care about
  • The difference between a hobby and a business
  • Why you need to accept criticism and have the continued willingness to learn

You’re content has to be a match of what you like and what your audience wants. If you’re only posting what you like, it’s a hobby.

Quantity leads to the quality - the more you do, the better you’ll get at it.

I always take the personal responsibility. At the end of the day, No matter how great the red dragon video may be, if I suck, the video sucks.
